The lectures focus on management of competitions with racing cars on asphalt on closed track, both sprint and endurance, with formula, prototypes and GT cars.
The course aims at making the student able to understand the dynamics of track engineering management: work in a team and teamwork, organization of team of technicians and mechanics , analysis of performance differentiators, preparation and management of events on the track (test and race), analysis of the regulations, knowledge of the vehicle adjustment parameters and their influence on performance and driveability, tire management, race strategies.
The course will be held at Dallara Academy; live streaming will be available on request.Calendar of lectures: Feb 29th; Mar 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th; Apr 11th; May 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th
A written test will be proposed during first and last dates in order to evaluate the learning progress and as a discussion reference for exams. For those who can not do the tests in the define dates the test will be made during the exam.
Considering the nature of the lecture focusing on management concepts with open discussion and some guests coming to describe their experience, the lectures will be available only live in presence and for occasional specific needs withremote streaming.
If for specific reasons you should miss one or two lectures we will give the opportunity to recover with notes and answer to direct questions.
If your participation is not compatible with other commitments you must make a choice: choose well.
